American Structurepoint was the ruby presenting sponsor, and Meyer Najem was the emerald sponsor. Approximately 250 people attended.
“This special event celebrated our history and the donors who have helped us reach this milestone,” said Megan Wiles, executive director of Riverview Health Foundation. “We also celebrated the more than $12 million donated to-date to support programs and projects at Riverview Health.”
Riverview Health Foundation also introduced a new project at the gala: the expansion of the Riverview Health Infusion Center.
“This new center is designed to provide personalized care to patients who receive treatment for cancer, multiple sclerosis and autoimmune diseases, to name a few,” said Wiles. “While it’s still in the planning stages, we know it’ll have a tremendous positive impact on how we provide care to our patients. And we’re excited to share more about it in the coming months.”
The $90,000 raised at the gala included $10,000 for an original painting by local artist Gabriel Lehman.
Other highlights of the gala included a jewelry raffle with a donated piece from Smith’s Jewelers, a silent auction and entertainment from the band American Cheese. The gala planning committee and board of directors appreciate the support of all the sponsors, volunteers and guests who helped make this a successful gala.
