Wolfert comes to Cathedral from his position as director of corporate relationships, championships and alliances, at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) where he directed the Corporate Champion and Partner program as well as managed relationships with broadcast partners and supervised the NCAA official vendor and supplier program. He was a member of the senior leadership team for the NCAA Championships, Marketing & Broadcast Alliances Group.
Wolfert previously has been in corporate relations, athletics, and marketing for Ball State University, Georgia Teach (ISP Sports/IMG College), TSI International, University of Notre Dame, Home Team Advantage, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, Ohio University, and Indiana University.
He has been a board member of the Dave Duerson MCS Athletic Safety Fund, board member and former president of Muncie Civic Theatre, member of Rotary International and Muncie Downtown Development Committee, and taught religious education at St. Francis Catholic Church. He was awarded the Entrepreneurial Success Award in 2000 from the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce.
Wolfert earned a Master of Science degree in sports administration and facility management from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science degree in sport marketing and management from Indiana University.
