Carmel, IN - To kick off the holiday season, Carmel Green Initiative is hosting its second annual “Green Gift Shop” on Tuesday, November 10th from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Carmel Clay Public Library. The Green Gift Shop will feature green gifts that are local, organic, natural, recycled, reused, or repurposed. Local businesses will showcase green gifts for family and friends such us products from Mill Run Honey a local beekeeper; handmade mittens made from recycled wool from Mimi’s Mittens, organic chocolate from Xchocol'Art; and much, much more.
“With the holidays just around the corner, we are thrilled to offer a green alternative for holiday shoppers who care about being good stewards of the planet," says Leslie Webb, president of Carmel Green Initiative. “The Green Gift Shop enables us to celebrate and make our holiday a little greener."
