Since 1999, Indy BackPack Attack has formed strategic community collaborations with Central Indiana organizations and businesses and has made it our mission to collect school supplies to provide children the tools they need to succeed in school. It’s reported that 80% percent of the families in the Indianapolis Public Schools district (IPS) need
help with basic school supplies. With the help of local organizations and businesses, Indy BackPack Attack has collected more than 3.5 million school supplies since 1999!
“We are thrilled to work with Indy Eleven and their fans for this public school supply
drive,” said Sara Griffin, co-chair of Indy BackPack Attack. “This collection event will help us in our effort to supply children with tools they need to be successful and allow us the opportunity to reach more deserving children throughout the school year.”
“Indy Eleven players have been welcomed by students and faculty members at IPS schools with open arms from day one,” said Indy Eleven Director of Community Relations Guy-Jo Gordon. “We’re excited to partner with Indy BackPack Attack for our game on July 11 and strongly encourage our fans to help these deserving students and teachers who need an assist.”

About Indy Eleven Professional Soccer
After selling out all 14 home games of its 2014 Inaugural Season in the North American Soccer League (NASL), a professional soccer league based in the United States and Canada, Indy Eleven entered its second season of NASL play in April 2015. The squad contests its home games at Michael A. Carroll Stadium (2015 capacity of 10,524) on the campus of IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis, where an average of nearly 10,500 fans helped Indy Eleven lead the growing league in attendance during its first season.
Born Indy Pro Soccer after launching as the 11th member of the North American Soccer League on January 16, 2013, Indy Eleven established its identity 99 days later on the 152nd anniversary of the establishment of the 11th Indiana Regiment during the Civil War on April 25, 1861. The mission of Indy Eleven – “To win championships with and for the community” – stays true to its aim of fielding a team that will represent Indiana proudly on and off the field.
